On Sunday April 9th, we will be running the 2017 Brighton Marathon

17th March 2017
We will be running in memory of Michelle’s sister Lorna, who sadly passed away back in November after a brave battle with cancer. At just 40, Lorna achieved more than many and was loving wife to Steve and mummy to beautiful boys, Joseph and Billy. Michelle - “Lorna was always so supportive, caring with a positive outlook. Even after being diagnosed she told me several times that cancer will be beaten – it will be. Ten years ago, she encouraged me to get out there and give running a try. I am so glad I did, so much has come from running, including making a wonderful friend Natasha”. Marathon training has been tough and has had its highs and lows. When we are aching and feel we can’t go on - Lorna’s determination and encouragement is with us. We will be raising money for Phyllis Tuckwell who allowed Lorna to remain at home with the boys through the course of her illness and create so many happy moments and memories with family and friends. Please give generously to allow other families to benefit. Hospice Care is very much about hope and living well with illness and it is a precious gift you will be giving. Thank you for your support!
